A legendary suit worn by the late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham is expected to sell for £1,500 at auction.

The rare 1970s pinstripe outfit features an inside pocket label bearing the handwritten inscription "John Bonham Esq 1974".

Redditch-born Bonham, alongside Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, formed what many consider the greatest band in rock 'n' roll history - Led Zeppelin.

Throughout the 1970s the group shifted 300 million records across the globe before Bonham's tragic death in 1980.

The musician, widely regarded as the finest drummer on the planet, choked on his own vomit after a 24-hour drinking session during which he allegedly consumed 40 shots of vodka.
