A warning has been issued to Santander, NatWest, Lloyds and Barclays customers over the bank's savings accounts. The best savings accounts of the week have been revealed - and neither of Santander or Natwest, nor Lloyds or Barclays, feature.

Instead, the best easy-access accounts are currently cahoot, offering five per cent, and Snoop, offering 4.4 per cent. Others highly-tipped are Harpenden Building Society, Spring and United Trust, all above four per cent.

Away from easy-access and the best cash ISAs are Tembo, Vanquis and Cynergy, all at 4.3 per cent or 4.2 per cent. The best regular savings accounts are Principality, Zopa, The Co-op and Nationwide, all at 7.5 per cent to six per cent.
