WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Ted Cruz from Texas recently expressed concerns over FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s response to ABC regarding comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s comments about the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Cruz shared his thoughts on his latest podcast. He described Carr as a “great guy” and expressed his satisfaction that ABC took “Jimmy Kimmel Live” off the air indefinitely.

However, Cruz expressed apprehension about the potential consequences of threatening ABC’s broadcasting license. He stated, “Threatening ABC’s broadcasting license eventually will end up bad for conservatives.”
