SEPTEMBER 27 Bethany Church of Wanchese fundraisers on Saturday, Sept. 27

Bethany Church of Wanchese plans two events for Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Wanchese Community Building.

The day starts with the Break The Chains 5K, with proceeds benefitting local substance abuse programs. The race starts at 8 a.m. To register, contact Denise at 252-473-5254 . Cost is $25.

The Pancake Breakfast runs from 8 to 11 a.m., with proceeds going to Haiti missions.
