HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) — A car was destroyed after it rolled over on Interstate 86 Monday morning, according to Horseheads Village Police Chief Mike Suhey.
On Monday, Sept. 22, around 8:15 a.m., a driver from Arizona was headed eastbound on I-86 when he rolled his car over near exit 52A, Chief Suey told 18 News. The driver told officers at the scene that he had fallen asleep while driving, Suhey stated.
As a result, the car was totaled, Suhey explained. The driver of the car had minor injuries and was able to walk away from the crash, Suey said.
