BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- Sunday marked one year since the mass shooting that occurred outside Hush Lounge in Five Points South, a night that left a lasting mark on the community. What was once a busy nightlife district is now quieter, carrying the weight of a painful memory for residents and families alike.

The shooting left four people dead and 17 others injured. The lives of Tahj Booker, Carlos McCain, Roderick Lynn Patterson and Anitra Holloman were taken during the mass shooting.
