No one should ever have to worry about where their next meal will come from or rationing Ramen to make it to payday, but unfortunately, that is a harsh reality a lot of people face. That is why I am so thankful for Empty Bowls of Owensboro and the work they do in raising money for organizations that are doing their part to end hunger in the area.

Their annual soup dinner at the Riverpark Center is always a popular event. Thanks to generous donors, this creative fundraiser brings the community together in a really special way. You get to choose a one-of-a-kind bowl made by local artists, enjoy a variety of soups, and then take it home as a reminder of the gift you gave and the people who are helped by your support.
