MINNEAPOLIS — A popular social media show that creates a sandwich from old recipe books every week is going on the road and "giving it a go" in Minneapolis.

Barry Enderwick started in " Sandwiches of History " in 2018 and his unique food project has built over half a million followers on Instagram and TikTok.

Each week, Enderwick explains the old recipe, makes the sandwich, rates it and then famously does his "plus up," which usually involves adding spices, hot sauces, or other concoctions.

Sandwiches of History includes hundreds of "olden tymee" recipes from around the world—and some with historical significance.

Enderwick and the show are coming to the Hook and Ladder Theater in Minneapolis on Saturday, Oct. 4, with comedian and special guest Bill Corbett at 2 p.m. All ages are
