Chicken donation helping people across Central and Western Virginia

VERONA, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A new program that aims to address a growing food insecurity crisis has provided thousands of pounds of protein to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

As part of Perdue Farms’ “Fill the Food Gap” initiative, BRAFB received 80,000 pounds of chicken.
