ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers launched a tool that allows the public to share information about waterway usage.
The Mississippi & Illinois River Experience Tool allow users to submit details about how they utilize waterways through a general form or by pinpointing a specific map location.
Officials said the initiative was launched to gather public input to inform future restoration efforts under the Navigation and Ecosystem Sustainability Program.
