NASHUA, N.H. —

After the first court appearance for the suspect accused in connection with a deadly shooting at a New Hampshire country club, the club's owner spoke out about the crime and read a heartfelt statement from the victim's family.

Hunter Nadeau, 23, of Nashua, is charged with murder in the death of 59-year-old Robert Steven DeCesare. Officials allege Nadeau shot DeCesare and two other people at Sky Meadow Country Club on Saturday.

Nadeau was charged with one count of second-degree murder and is being held without bail . Prosecutors said they expect additional charges to be filed as the investigation unfolds.

Sky Meadow owner Rob Parsons spoke outside the courthouse after Nadeau's initial hearing on Monday.
