TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. —

A Louisiana man indicted in the killings of a Loranger mother and her daughter is scheduled to return to court in Tangipahoa Parish this Friday.

Daniel Callihan is expected to plead guilty and be sentenced for the deaths of Callie Brunett and her youngest daughter, Erin. Advertisement

He has already pleaded guilty in federal court to similar crimes after admitting to killing Callie and abducting her daughter in the summer of 2024 from their home.

Callihan is also expected to enter guilty pleas in Mississippi on Monday, where Erin was found dead.

He will be sentenced in federal court on Nov. 19 and will serve a life sentence without the possibility of probation or parole.
