MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Dyersburg man is in jail after being accused of hitting a pedestrian and driving away from the scene in Crockett County.

Antonio Darnell Swift, 43, is facing other charges, such as felony possession of marijuana.

Dyersburg Police said they noticed a white Ford Ranger pickup truck with severe damage to the front, and that it matched the description of the damage of a truck reported in Crockett County earlier.

An officer said she initiated a traffic stop, and during the stop, she smelled marijuana and saw nearly two ounces of marijuana inside the truck.
