Plans have been submitted to demolish a large pub which has been vacant for a year and become the target of vandalism, break-ins and anti-social behaviour in Davyhulme.
Pub company Punch has submitted the application to bulldoze the Moss Vale Hotel on Lostock Road, which according planning documents has been up for sale at a price of £755,000.
The Moss Vale ceased trading due to escalating costs on September 30 2024. It is hoped the demolition will make way for a convenience store and drive-thru restaurant.
