GRAND FORKS — The UND football team has yet to be at full health at tight end in 2025.
Starter Aidan Behymer has missed all four games, while another regular tight end Haydn Stay has missed three games.
Against Valparaiso last Saturday, the Fighting Hawks were without four tight ends: Behymer, Stay, true freshman Nathan Hromodka and Wyoming transfer Hunter Kallstrom.
No. 14 UND has a bye this weekend and hopes the open Saturday can result in a healthier roster, especially at tight end.
At his weekly Monday press conference, UND head coach Eric Schmidt said he'll know about the availability of Behymer and Stay after they meet with the team's medical staff early this week.
None of the injuries at tight end, however, appear to be long-term.
