Another week of NFL football and another week of Christian McCaffrey doing things that haven’t been done in a half-century .
This time, McCaffrey became the first 49ers player since at least 1950 to register 50-plus rushing yards and 50-plus receiving yards in each of the first three weeks of the season.
McCaffrey also became the first NFL player to accomplish that feat since Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk to start the 2000 NFL season.
The 49ers running back finished Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals with 140 all-purpose yards – 52 coming on the ground and 88 through the air.
With another 100-plus-yard all-purpose day, the 29-year-old star also tied Baltimore's Derrick Henry with the most games by an active player with 100-or-more all-purpose yards
