HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The West Virginia state baseball tournament has a new home. The WVSSAC announced Monday afternoon that it will be played at Jack Cook Field beginning in 2026. The contract runs through 2028 with an option for 2029.

“We are grateful for the interest shown by communities across West Virginia in hosting the baseball championships,” said WVSSAC Executive Director Wayne Ryan. “The City of Huntington and Marshall University presented a strong proposal, and we’re excited to partner with them to provide a high-quality championship experience for student-athletes, coaches, and fans at a premier facility.
