FOXBOROUGH – In Miami, the Patriots were able to move the ball efficiently and score plenty of points. On Sunday, against Pittsburgh, they moved the ball efficiently but didn’t score enough due to five turnovers.
In both instances, however, the primary focus on offense was the team’s tight ends and running backs. In the last two games, the Patriots haven’t had a single wide receiver finished with 40 or more yards.
Mack Hollins led the group with 27 receiving yards against the Steelers. Stefon Diggs led the way with 32 yards in Miami. The only pass catchers to finish with more than 40 yards in the last two weeks are tight end Hunter Henry and running back Rhamondre Stevenson .
