CO Troy Fondie (Orr) reports small-game-hunting activity remains light with few hunters and few birds. The weekend rain further dampened spirits. Questions continue about the lack of ducks.

CO Aaron Larson (Tower) worked angling, ATV and small-game enforcement. Small-game hunters were still having little success. Violations were related to angling licenses.

CO Marc Johnson (Hibbing) primarily worked small-game, big-game and ATV activity. Warm weather and thick cover frustrated many hunters out looking for grouse.

CO Duke Broughten (Aurora) reports grouse hunters were seeing few birds and had limited success. Anglers reported moderate success. He also fielded calls regarding youth deer season, legal firearms for small game, and ATV safety.
