A Birmingham man has been indicted in the 2024 shooting death of a man who was dropped off at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
A Jefferson County grand jury indicted 31-year-old Kelvin Andra Edwards Jr. in the killing of 41-year-old Lamar King. The indictment was issued Sept. 12 and made public Monday.
Edwards was initially arrested last year.
West Precinct officers were dispatched at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, to Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Hospital staff told police someone dropped off the victim.

Investigators did not initially know where the shooting happened, but later said King was inside a vehicle when he was shot in the 1900 Block of 13th Way S.W
