DANVILLE — According to a release from the Vermilion County Sheriff's Department a fatal crash occurred Monday morning at the intersection of Bowman Avenue and Poland Road.

The initial investigation shows that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Poland Roland failed to yield and proceeded into the intersection in front of a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Bowman Avenue.
