Crosswalk improvements will require lane closings on parts of both Airport Highway and Glendale Avenue for one month, starting Tuesday, the Toledo Department of Transportation announced.

Airport will have lanes closed between Angola and Wenz roads, while the Glendale work zone will be between Cherrylawn and Heatherton drives.

Shorter-term pavement restoration work, meanwhile, will affect City Park Avenue and Douglas Road for two and three days, respectively, transportation department officials said.

Lane closings will affect Douglas between Edgar Street and Koehler Avenue, while City Park’s southbound lane will be closed between Humboldt and Sterling streets. City Park will be detoured via Nebraska Avenue, Collingwood Boulevard, and the Anthony Wayne Trail.
