GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- A suspect is in custody after a Greensboro shooting that sent one person to the hospital on Sunday, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.

At 1:02 am, Greensboro officers responded to the 4200 block of Bernau Avenue when they were told about an aggravated assault.

Responding officers found a victim who had apparently been shot and was taken to a hospital by EMS.

Zoe Santana, 27, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, discharging firearm into occupied property, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, possession of a stolen firearm and discharging firearms in city limits.
