Stellantis, the company that owns Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Fiat, detected that someone accessed a third-party company that supports its customer service operations in all of North America, including Canada.

The company says that it’s still investigating, but so far has determined that no financial information was part of the hack. That said, personal information like people’s names and basic contact information may have gotten out.

Sellantis says that it’s unclear how many people were affected in a statement. However, it has started reaching out to customers to inform them of the berach.

Authorities have been notified, and owners of vehicles should be on the lookout for phishing attempts.
