PENNSYLVANIA (WTAJ) — Attorney General Dave Sunday is reminding the public to be careful of donation scams that could be surfacing in the wake of three Pennsylvania officers' deaths.

On Sept. 17, three officers with the Northern York County Regional Police Department were shot and killed in an ambush by a suspect in York County. They were identified as Det. Sgt. Cody Becker, Det. Mark Baker, and Det. Isaiah Emenheiser. A fourth Northern York County Regional police officer and a York County Deputy Sheriff were also shot and have since been reported to be in 'satisfactory' condition.

Sunday, along with the Office of Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection, is warning would-be donors to be careful, as it's possible scams regarding the officer's deaths may be popping up.
