WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — The Warrick County Coroner’s Office has reported a concerning rise in infant deaths due to unsafe sleep practices, with cases tripling since the start of 2025.

The coroner says the incidents are now the leading cause of preventable death among children under 18 in Warrick County.
