EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — McDonald’s locations across the Tri-State area have launched a new initiative to support neighbors in need.

From September 22 to 26, local McDonald’s owner/operators will donate 10% of all a la carte fry sales to the Tri-State Food Bank. This effort, named Side of Support, aims to combat hunger in the community.

Local McDonald’s owners emphasized the importance of the Tri-State Food Bank's work in Evansville and surrounding areas. "They’re proud to help them serve the regional community," said local McDonald’s owners.

The Tri-State Food Bank distributes millions of pounds of food annually to food-insecure households across 33 counties in southwestern Indiana, southeastern Illinois, and northwestern Kentucky.
