ANDERSON COUNTY., S.C. (WSPA) - New testing results show step by step how schools in Anderson County School District Five are closing the gap and taking students to the top of the class.
Several schools got their state testing scores back.
“This year we are talking about how building a strong foundation ensures the success of our students and that every moment counts and every minute counts,” said Dr. Brenda Kelley, Anderson School District Five Superintendent.
Varennes elementary is a Title I school.
“That typically means that a lot of our students live at or below the poverty line, and need extra assistance. One of the things that we have done is started to meet students where they are,” said Adam Cobb, Varennes Elementary School Principal.
