LANDOVER, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police in Prince George's County arrested an 18-year-old after an illegal car meet up, saying that he seriously injured a woman in an assault.

The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said that officers arrested Naef Salmo of Millersville after an incident in Landover.

Police said that the vehicle takeover took place on Sept. 14, 2025, around 1:45 a.m. in the parking lot of a shopping center in the 8500 block of Landover Rd.

PGPD said that during this illegal meet up, Salmo was doing circles in his car. At some point, he hit a spectator, then left the area.

The victim was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. PGPD said that she has been released.
