UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (DC News Now) -- Prince George’s County Public Schools is implementing new security measures after several fights and a robbery broke out during Friday night’s Wise High School versus Flowers High School football game.
The district announced Monday that all Wise High football games will now be played on Saturdays. In addition, security will be increased at larger athletic venues, with additional staff and local police on site.
Robert Adams, the father of a Wise High School student, said he was surprised by what happened during the rivalry game.
