WASHINGTON, D.C. (WWNY) - On Monday and Tuesday, 7 News’ Jeff Cole will air reports on his interview with border czar Tom Homan at the White House. In Part 1, we see Homan’s personal side.

As a senior advisor to President Trump, Tom Homan’s office in the West Wing is 20 steps from the Oval Office in a house with a lot of history.

“Walk around, there’s so much history. Walk by offices where treaties were signed, declaration of war, there’s so much history in this building,” he said.

Who has been in Homan’s office?

“Henry Kissinger, and at one point, it was a closet. Someone stopped me the other day and asked, ‘Where’s your office?’ I showed him. He said Henry Kissinger’s office, sitting at the same desk, same chair,” said Homan.

This is Homan’s second time in the Trump administration.
