PEMBROKE — Ahead of Saturday’s game against Ferrum, UNC Pembroke head football coach Mark Hall said about his defense: “I think we have an opportunity to have a good football game, but we’re going to have to focus on doing our job and doing it with the right fundamentals and everybody kind of feeding off each other and making the game hard for them. I think if we do that and play extremely hard like we have been doing, we can have a good game.”

They definitely had a good game.

The Braves defense held Ferrum scoreless through the first three quarters, while the UNCP offense made plenty of the big plays that a Hall-led team is known for, and the Braves beat Ferrum 41-14.
