LUMBERTON — State Superintendent Maurice “Mo” Green’s strategic plan regional tour, in collaboration with the State Board of Education, will make its Sandhills Region stop on Monday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. at Lumberton High School.

During the event, Green will share more about the state’s bold five-year strategic plan, Achieving Educational Excellence, and engage with community stakeholders about strengthening public education in North Carolina. In addition, he will meet with educational leaders and discuss partnerships between the district, UNC Pembroke and Robeson Community College, and tour the construction site of the new Career Center.
