DICKINSON — Linda Sailer was recognized for her life’s work as a writer, journalist and mentor at the recent National Federation of Press Women (NFPW) conference in Golden, CO.
Locally, Sailer is remembered as someone who carried her camera everywhere, “just in case she might stumble upon a story that needed to be told.”
“She was my mentor and cheerleader and definitely helped me become a better writer,” said Dr. Debora Dragseth. “More importantly, she inspired me and others to see writing as a way of serving others.”
