EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — The Effingham County Health Department will be offering drive-thru flu shots.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Clarence Morgan Recreational Complex in Springfield.

Flu vaccines will be available for children aged 6 months and older, including a high-dose vaccine for those aged 65 and up. No appointment will be needed and most health insurance plans will be accepted. Free flu shots will be offered for individuals without coverage.
