A special committee of Florida lawmakers is meeting in Tallahassee to discuss major changes to property taxes. Meaning that this could lower what you pay or shift the burden somewhere else.
Florida currently takes in around $55 billion a year in property taxes, and some lawmakers want to change how those taxes are determined. That could mean more savings for homeowners and businesses.
