CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Kanawha County man convicted of wire fraud has been sentenced to prison.
Theodore Miller, 35, of South Charleston, who deemed himself “The Wolf of West Virginia,” was sentenced Monday to seven years in prison, which will be followed by three years of supervised release.
Miller has also been ordered to pay $398,533.52 in restitution.
Miller defrauded more than 180 individuals from spring 2022 until September 2024 through a pair of real estate investment schemes. Court documents show that Miller solicited investors on social media and portrayed himself as a successful real estate businessman that had the cash to travel the world as he pleased.
As part of a prior plea deal, Miller admitted that he was delinquent on property taxes and bills and had poor credit.
