The Oconee County Coroner has identified a 4-year-old boy who died on Friday.

The coroner said based on the examination of the child at the scene, Isaiah Joseph Dionne's death appears suspicious in nature.

According to the coroner, an autopsy was conducted Monday morning, but no details of the child's death will be released while further tests are conducted.

The coroner has ruled Dionne's death as a homicide.

One of the people charged after the death of a 4-year-old in Oconee County, South Carolina, was a South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper at the time of his arrest, according to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.

On Friday, Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reported the death of a 4-year-old at a home on Forest Acres Circle near Walhalla.
