WASHINGTON — Costco shoppers should check their refrigerators and immediately discard Kirkland Signature Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke purchased last week, as the wholesale retailer has recalled the popular deli item due to potential listeria contamination.
Western United Fish Company, which operates as Annasea Foods Group and produces the poke for Costco, announced it is recalling 3,314.7 pounds of the product sold Sept. 18 at warehouse stores in 33 states. The company was alerted by its green onion supplier that green onions used in the item tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes.
The recall affects poke with a pack date of Sept. 18, 2025, and a sell-by date of Sept. 22, 2025. The product comes in clear plastic clamshell containers with Costco item number 17193. The poke was sold in the Cos
