FARGO — The next time you head into downtown Fargo, you might notice some colorful new artwork.

There is a new mural on the corner of Eighth Street and Main Avenue.

Muralist Mana Bear Bolton spent a total of just three days on the project. She was hired by the Dakota Art and Business Center to create a statement for their building.

Bolton has completed more than 40 murals, with more than 15 of them just this year. Her next project is helping Thai Orchid with signage at its new location.

As a full-time artist, when she is not painting murals, she is working on business logos, pet portraits, human portraits and teaching.

"I'm a full time artist. This is my every day, my life. So if I can find a place to be creative or help somebody else be creative, that's where I work," Bolton said.
