The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public's help in tracking down a driver who struck and seriously injured a man in Boyle Heights in June.

Just after 9 p.m. on June 9, a flatbed semi-truck headed east on Washington Boulevard hit a man in his 30s who was walking northbound across the street, then fled east toward Soto Street without stopping to help, police said in a news release.

The victim was treated for severe injuries at a local hospital.

A reward of up to $25,000 is available for information leading to the driver.
