STEPHENSON COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) - The Stephenson County Sheriff’s Office releases a toxicology report as part of its investigation into a double-fatal crash on Illinois Route 26 on August 9.
Results show that one of the drivers, Rolando Ico-Choc, was over three times the legal limit in Illinois with a BAC of .244. No alcohol was found in the system of the other driver killed, Darcy Connolly-Brunner.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 9, deputies were called to a head-on collision on Illinois Route 26 near Oneco Road in rural Stephenson County.
