While Garrity is currently Pennsylvania's state treasurer, she's now setting her sights on becoming governor.
Over the weekend, she received nearly unanimous endorsement from the PA GOP in an attempt to possibly bypass a primary.
Assuming Josh Shapiro runs in 2026, Garrity is slated to be his direct competition.
