Camp Notre Dame in Fairview received a donation from the Loving Giving Local initiative this week, supporting its mission to provide affordable camping experiences for children and families.

Located near the shores of Lake Erie, Camp Notre Dame has been a staple in the community since 1960, offering summer and family camping programs. The camp is affiliated with the Catholic Diocese of Erie but is operated by a separate non-profit entity, welcoming children of all faiths.

"One of the wonderful things about camp is we offer a unique experience to children and families that encourages involvement with nature, connection with each other, and a closer relationship with God," said Joel Alex, Executive Director of Camp Notre Dame.
