TRENTON, Maine (WABI) - Tuesday marks the fourth anniversary of the death of Hancock County Deputy Luke Gross.

He was hit by a vehicle while investigating a crash in Trenton on Sept.23, 2021.

In honor of Gross, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says there will be a roadside gathering.

Officials say it will take place at 5 a.m. in the area of Hunter’s Way on Bar Harbor Road in Trenton.

Officials say they may need to close the road for a few minutes to ensure everyone’s safety.
