MARYVILLE, Tenn. — One person is dead and two others are injured after two motorcycles crashed on Old Walland Highway Saturday, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
BCSO said the wreck happened around 5 p.m.
The driver of one of the motorcycles, Neil David Blevins, was confirmed to have died at the scene.
According to a crash report from the sheriff's office, Blevins was driving east on Old Walland Highway in Maryville toward Cold Springs Road when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with another motorcycle.
The driver of the second motorcycle was flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center by Lifestar, with the passenger also sent to UTMC by ground. Both were confirmed to have serious injuries, BCSO said.
