The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority has awarded more than four and a half million dollars in grants to organizations that serve Alaskans in need.
In the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, the Trust distributed $4,670,694 to nonprofits, service providers, Tribal entities, and government agencies. These grants are part of the Trust’s $25 million annual program supporting Alaskan organizations that help Trust beneficiaries.
Mary Wilson, CEO of the Trust, says the funds will expand access to behavioral health and prevention services, support housing for beneficiaries, and strengthen community engagement from Kotzebue to Ketchikan.
