VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Vincennes Community School Corporation Police Department is just a year old, and it is already recognized by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy as a tier one department.
The VCSC decided back in the fall of 2024 to create a police department for its eight schools in the corporation. After the police department began roaming the halls of the schools in January of 2025, it has already become a vital part of the school community and Chief of Police for the VCSC PD, Aaron Luce, knows how much the schools appreciate the officers.
