Donald Ray Yates, age 71, passed away September 20,2025 at Tennova Newport Medical Center. He was a wonderful God-fearing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Blaine Yates, mother, Evelyn Dora Yates, daughter, Letisha Yates, brother, Haskell Yates, sister, Marie Woody, and sister, Alice Henderson.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Yates; daughter, Loretta Yates; sister, Rita Turner; along with many other family and friends.

Donald was a Godly husband and father, and he will be missed dearly by his family. It is a bittersweet moment to lose him on this Earth, but we know that we will meet him at the gates one day. We can share eternity together and be with our Heavenly Father as a family again. Oh, how we long for that day to come.
