OAKRIDGE, Ore. - Firefighters are making progress in containing the Emigrant Fire, thanks to favorable weather and effective suppression efforts, fire management officials said.
According to the Rocky Mountain Complex Incident Management Team 1, crews are now focusing on suppression repair and backhauling equipment. Division A remains stable with minimal fire growth, while Division D crews address areas of heat along Forest Service Road 21. In Division F, the fire is contained on the ridge above FSR 2153 with little heat detected.
